ABOUT
ONBOARD
LIFE

Working on cruise ships or river vessels is an experience unlike any other profession. It is a demanding and exhausting journey that pushes your limits, yet at the same time offers the joy of fulfilling your dreams and the privilege of a truly unique lifestyle. On a normal working day, crew members are expected to work in confined spaces for at least 10 hours, maintaining the same pace seven days a week.

Crew cabins are generally shared by two or three people; therefore, personal space on board may be limited. You will be working for periods ranging from six to ten months alongside a large and diverse crew made up of individuals from different nationalities and cultures.

Patience, respect, and understanding are essential while working at sea. In this environment, you will have the opportunity to build strong and lasting friendships with people from various cultural backgrounds.

At the end of each voyage, selected personnel from all departments are required to assist with the transfer of food and beverage supplies delivered to the ship, as well as the luggage belonging to passengers.

If, during your first contract, you remain patient, adapt well to teamwork, and perform your assigned duties diligently, you will gain significant advantages in terms of job continuity and career advancement.

Throughout the duration of your contract, you will also have the chance to visit new countries and meet people from a wide variety of cultures.
